link on contact details

I am trying to put my email address and a icon on a contact page. However, when I try this it dose not seem to work, I know what to do because I have done it in the past but this time it takes to long can some help.

I also have downloaded a icon as a letter box when I try to do the aboutt the same thing happens and their is no icon either
Please can some help
