I have created a gallery, but there i can add only photos. I have also uploaded pdf and word documents, but i cannot attach them into gallery so that anyone who visits my site to view the photos and to download the attachements. (i mean documents - word,pdf, etc).
What should i do to insert them into gallery??

A gallery is just designed for pictures and therefore only pictures can be shown in a gallery.
In order to offer downloads to your visitors, please open a page in the editor => click the chain symbol => "Link with a download" => and follow the instructions.
